OnNovember21,2012,Brother(Brother)announcedtheclosureofitstypewriterproductionplantinNorthWales,andthelasttypewritertobeofftheassemblylinewilldirectlyentertheLondonScienceMuseumasasymbolofanera.Since1885,thecompanyhasproduced5.9millionWrexhamtypewriters.After130years,itwasfinallycompletelyreplacedbycomputers.
