Introduction to scams
GSM hijacking + SMS sniffing technology means that scammers use special equipment to automatically search for nearby mobile phone numbers and intercept SMS sent by operators and banks. The target of hijacking is mainly 2G Signal (GSM signal), after stealing SMS information, log in to some websites and collide with the identity information of the machine owner, which is called "collision database" (that is, collision between multiple databases), trying to match the identity information of the machine owner, including ID, bank card number, mobile phone number, verification code and other information, and then opened an account on some niche convenient payment platforms and bound the victim’s bank card, impersonating the victim for consumption or cashing out, and stealing the victim’s bank card funds.
